About Lyiazsoy car vacuums

Lyiazsoy makes small cordless vacuums for the jobs a full-size hoover is too bulky for: car seats and footwells, keyboards, window tracks, drawers and the gap beside the sofa. Each one is a few hundred grams, runs from a 6,000 mAh battery and charges over USB-C, so it can live in the glovebox and be topped up from the car.

There are two body styles. The pistol-grip ST-6697A Plus is the best seller and works as a 4-in-1 tool – vacuum, air duster, vacuum-sealer and air pump. The ST-6706A Plus has an upright grip, a numeric display showing battery level and a faster 2–2.5 hour charge. Both reach 27,000 Pa on their top setting and come with a kit of nozzles.

How to use your Lyiazsoy vacuum

Based on the instructions in the product listings. The leaflet in the box uses small print, so here are the key steps.

  1. Charge it fully

    Plug the USB-C cable into the vacuum and a USB port or a 5 V/2 A adapter (not included). The indicator shows the charge; a full charge takes about 2–2.5 hours on the ST-6706A Plus and 3.5–4 hours on the ST-6697A Plus.

  2. Fit a suction nozzle

    Push the crevice tool, brush, floor nozzle or the hose onto the dust-cup end. The suction side is the one with the clear dust cup.

  3. Choose a suction level

    Press the power button to switch on at the lowest level; press again for the second and third levels. Use the low level for long jobs and the top level (27,000 Pa) for grit and sand.

  4. Blow or inflate

    For dusting or inflating, fit the blowing or inflating nozzle to the air outlet on the opposite end. Do not use the inflating nozzle for vacuuming.

  5. Empty the dust cup

    Rotate the dust cup to release it (on the ST-6706A Plus press the one-click release), tip the debris into a bin and pull out the HEPA filter.

  6. Wash and dry the filter

    Rinse the filter and dust cup under the tap and let them air-dry completely before refitting. Never wash the motor body.

Looking after it

Empty the cup after every session – suction drops noticeably once it is more than half full. Tap or rinse the filter regularly and only refit it when completely dry. Store the vacuum in its case away from heat, and recharge it every few months if it is not in use so the battery stays healthy.

If something isn't right

  • Suction feels weakEmpty the dust cup and clean or replace the HEPA filter; check that the nozzle is pushed fully home.
  • It won't switch onCharge it for at least 30 minutes with the supplied cable and check the indicator lights up.
  • Air blows out of the nozzleThe nozzle is on the outlet side – move suction nozzles to the dust-cup end.

What is the difference between the ST-6697A Plus and the ST-6706A Plus?

Both have a brushless motor with three suction levels up to 27,000 Pa and a 6,000 mAh battery. The ST-6697A Plus has a pistol grip and an LED battery/speed indicator; the ST-6706A Plus has an upright grip, a numeric battery display, an LED light and charges faster (about 2–2.5 hours instead of 3.5–4).

How long does the battery last?

According to the listings, about 30–35 minutes on the lowest level, around 25 minutes on the middle level and about 15 minutes at the full 27,000 Pa.

How do I charge it?

With the USB-C cable in the box, from any USB port or a 5 V/2 A adapter (not included). You can charge it in the car from a USB socket.

Is it strong enough for pet hair and sand in the car?

Owners use it for dog hair on seats, sand, grit and crumbs in footwells. Use the top level and the floor brush or hose for embedded hair.

Can I wash the filter?

Yes. Remove the dust cup, pull out the HEPA filter, rinse it and the cup under water and let both dry completely. The motor body must not get wet.

A spare filter is in the box. When a filter no longer comes clean or gets damaged, Lyiazsoy sells a four-piece HEPA filter set.

Is it loud?

The listings give under 75 dB. It is noticeably louder on the top level, as you would expect from a compact high-speed motor.

Can I use it around the house as well?

Yes – it is used for sofas, keyboards, drawers, window tracks and stairs. It is meant for small areas and quick clean-ups, not as a replacement for a full-size vacuum.
